Getting there. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal on the lower level and typically cost 15- 20 EUR to the hotel. The 109 airport bus connects to Zoologischer Garten station on the U-Bahn (metro system). The X9 is a faster express airport shuttle bus connecting central Berlin, the Zoologischer Garten U-Bahn station and the main train station. Wittenbergplatz metro station is 500 metres from the hotel. All buses depart from the upper level. Tickets must be validated in the machine before use. All prices subject to change. Berlin's integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all S-Bahn (over-ground) and U-Bahn (underground) trains, trams, buses and ferries.
